Episode 12! ヾ(*д*)ノ゛
From it looks to me, and on what is going with this episode. Is that they might be going for the "True ending" for the series, which follows the same ending as for the Light novels.
In this episode, we get to see Ayase in the way that she looked like a housewife for an entire episode, which was really an interesting thing. We get to see a whole different personality of her. Considering that we are used to her being "Yandere" who basically wanted to beat up poor Kyousuke. But this time, she seems to be so nice and loving.
The thing that I didn't like was at the beginning of the episode, where they had put a kind of a forced Harem concept. Where they put all the main female cast to go after Kyousuke and to go care for him. Which in my opinion, it is great to see all the most iconic characters of the series to come together. But to get to see them, being in a harem is not something I would like. It looked like as though they all had a forced personality swap.
But looking past that part of the episode, all around, it was a pretty good episode. This episode tends to focus more on Ayase, and what her relationship is with Kyousuke.
Nearing the end of the episode, probably one of the high moments of this episode, is when Ayase finally admits to him that she truly loves him. However, he denies her request, almost instantly. In certain Anime, the characters tend to just wander around without actually giving a rightful answer. Well, at least, Kyousuke had the courage to do something like that. In my opinion, this makes him a very good character, for being able to do that.
But honestly, I wish he would've win out with Ayase at least for a little bit. Which would've been a nice learning experience for him in my opinion.
But I mean, honestly, if you think about it, he might as well say that he did. Because he was with her for an entire month while he was studying.
I'm quite happy about what they did to focus an entire episode for Ayase. By doing that, we got to know more about her character and her all around different personality.
As always, I can't wait for more episodes, but I really hope that they do multiple different endings for this second season of Oreimo. Hopefully, they do the endings like what they did in the first season.
